Felix Akompi
Felix is a co-founding Partner of Sustainable Impact, an energy-focused firm based in Houston, Texas with a presence in Accra, Ghana. Prior to Sustainable Impact, Felix spent over a decade with Royal Dutch Shell in a Senior Management capacity where he honed and leveraged deep supply chain and commercial deal-making skills in global and regional leadership roles, and possesses broad expertise in structuring and negotiating complex high dollar-value deals. He also has proven expertise in driving complex business transformation programs. In his final role at Shell, he was Head of the Commercial Buy Side Group for the Americas region with an annual deal portfolio of $2 Billion. Prior to Shell, Mr. Akompi was on the Energy Deal Team of a boutique energy management consulting firm and was also an analyst with JPMorgan Chase in New York City and is a veteran of the United States Army.

Felix, a native of Ghana, is fluent in several of the local Ghanaian dialects and is a graduate of The Achimota School. He is committed to the betterment of the sub-Saharan Africa region, and plans to leverage his corporate background to advance worthy causes. Felix graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Economics and obtained his Master’s degree in Business from The University of San Diego. He is a Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) with the Institute of Supply Management (ISM).
